The Monolith lamp is born from the idea of the stone block as a primary, massive, and heavy element, evoking the large volumes extracted from the quarries of Vila Viçosa. The stone used is a leftover from a marble processing factory, recovered and reinterpreted as a lighting object. A central hole was carved to accommodate the bulb, creating a tension between the hardness of the stone and its fragility.
